If you’re new to powder coating, it is simply a type of protective finish that is applied as a free-flowing dry powder. The powder’s base itself consists of resins, pigments, leveling agents, flow modifiers, and other curing agents. These ingredients are melted, mixed, cooled, and ground into a fine powder that has a striking resemblance to baking flour.
An attraction between the powder particles and the object occurs which is necessary for the powder to adhere to the item. Once the process is completed, your object will stand out because of its beautiful color and you’ll love that it’s scratch resistant. This decorative and protective finish is tougher than conventional paint.
